Datawatch outlines vision for ‘data intelligence platform’ following Angoss purchase

Datawatch has been busy so far in 2018. Best known for Datawatch Monarch and its data-preparation and -analytics capabilities, especially for multi-structured data and unstructured reports, the company acquired Angoss Software in January to add predictive analytics software to its portfolio. Early March saw the company launch a new version of its Datawatch Swarm browser-based platform for team-driven data preparation with additional governance and collaboration capabilities. While the integration of Angoss is ongoing, the company has outlined how it is responding to enterprise demand for converged data preparation and -analytics functionality with what it is calling a ‘data intelligence platform.’
