Eugene Valentinov
Director of Product Development Global Equities
Bank of America Merrill Lynch

Eugene is currently Director of Product Development Global Equities at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he focuses on implementing and managing a variety of trading and analytics systems. Before joining Bank of America in 2017, he spent 14 years at Deutsche Bank in several roles, including senior management positions in the bank’s equity trading product development group. He holds a PhD in mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU).

Bruce Zulu
Field Engineering Lead

Bruce Zulu leads the team of engineers who work directly with client organizations to implement Altair Panopticon Steaming Analytics. Bruce has extensive experience in capital markets and IT infrastructure engineering and has been working with the Panopticon platform since 2013. He was also business development director for Kx Systems for several years and held positions at Barclays Capital and Morgan Stanley. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Multimedia Computing and Computer Science from the University of Wales.

Steven Harrison
President, COO, and Co-Founder
Imagine Software

Steven Harrison oversees all aspects of Imagine’s cloud offerings, including product management, professional services, operations, documentation, platform and security. He has more than thirty years of experience in developing real-time software for financial services firms. As Lead Technologist on Salomon Brothers’ Equity Derivatives Proprietary Trading Desk, Steven developed the firm’s state-of-the-art risk management and trading systems. While at Telerate he built the systems powering their signature “Page 5” as well as others. Steven left Salomon Brothers to start up the Equity Derivatives Trading desk for Sakura Global Capital and then launched his own start up, co-founding Imagine Software. At Imagine, Steven has been instrumental in navigating the company’s evolution from enterprise software to the first fully hosted cloud-based portfolio and risk management solution,, and its latest innovations, Imagine Risk Services and the Imagine App Marketplace. In 2013, Steven was named one of the world’s forty most prominent innovators and managers in trading technology by Institutional Investor.

Theo S. Klemming
Senior Product Manager

Theo Klemming began working with Panopticon in 2004. Over the years, he has held a variety of positions bridging product development, implementation, and customer relations. Theo recently rejoined Panopticon in 2019 after a three year period as Technical Project Manager on the Data Science Team for Nepa AB, a market research company. He holds an MS in Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Mark Lochbihler
Director, Technical Alliances

Mark has 30 years of experience working with advanced analytics, distributed computing, and data platforms. He works at MemSQL as the Director of Technical Alliances, focused on helping customers leverage modern operational and analytic capabilities to achieve a competitive advantage. Mark has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Mark Hassett
Pre-Sales Engineer

After graduating in Computer Science from Dublin City University, Mark cut his teeth as a software engineer for a Silicon Valley start-up in the early 2000’s before moving to London, spending seven years working as a proprietary futures trader. In 2011 he joined the Sales Engineering team of execution management system vendor Portware, which was subsequently acquired by the data and analytics heavyweight FactSet in 2015. Throughout this time, Mark has consulted on the design and implementation of customized trading workflow solutions for numerous tier one buy-side asset managers and hedge funds, with fully integrated data visualizations a focal point of his expertise.

Nick Huxley
Head of Fixed Income eAlgo Trading
Crédit Agricole CIB

Nick has been working with algo-trading systems focused on Fixed Income for Crédit Agricole CIB since 2016, and before that, he was the bank’s Head of Structured Credit IT for six years. Prior positions include positions at Citi, Morgan Stanley, and Anvil Software (now part of ION Trading). He has many years of experience working with fast data and big compute implementations supporting trading operations for bonds, structured credit, and other fixed income products. Nick holds a PhD in Electronic Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Liverpool.
