Captain Sig Hansen

Captain Sig Hansen is a fourth generation fisherman and the only featured Captain on Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch to appear in all eight seasons. Sig began commercial fishing at 14 and became a “relief skipper” at the age of 22.

As one of the youngest captains in the Bering Sea crab fishing fleet, Sig knew he had to either show results or get replaced. He opted for results.
