Monarch Context is an add-in for Excel, delivering data integrity, compliance and report navigation.
Monarch Context, part of the Monarch Report Analytics platform, makes it easier to incorporate existing reports into business intelligence initiatives, empowering better decision making. Monarch Context allows you to compare the data in Excel with the corresponding data embedded in source reports. With Monarch Context you can explore, copy and print source reports within Excel.
Enable Data Lineage for Excel
Spreadsheet-based reporting no longer fulfills the requirements for accurate, timely and trust-worthy report-based data. Executives, line of business managers, auditors and compliance specialists need to know where their data comes from, how accurate the data is, and if the data has been manually entered into a spreadsheet.
By enabling context as part of your table export option within Monarch Professional (V11/10.5), you can embed a full-fidelity XML representation of the original source report within any Excel file (XLSX/XLSM) that you create from that report. This enables the report to travel with the spreadsheet.
The Monarch Context™ add-in for Microsoft Excel (2007/2010) allows viewers of the context-enabled spreadsheet not only to work with the exported data, but to reference where the data came from by displaying its exact location in the source report. The Monarch Context™ add-in makes it easy to compare and reconcile the data in the spreadsheet with the source data!
